<< Love it, change it, or leave it >>

About me

„Love it, change it, or leave it“ is my private leitmotiv. It depicts ingredients for private happiness and professional satisfaction which I find relevant: a continuous drive for purpose, identification and satisfaction with what you are and do (love it – or at least accept it), an openness and accountability for learning (change it), and a determination to move on when loving or changing does not work (leave it). Privately as well as professionally, I am a quite curious and active person and have gone through some love, change, and leave periods.

I am a true “fishhead” – as people from my childhood home in Schleswig-Holstein are called. I currently live with my wife and my two children at the beautiful Rhine river in Bonn and whenever possible in our second home directly at the Adriatic Sea on the Dalmatian island of Korčula. So when I am surrounded by water, I feel grounded. In addition, physical exercise (swimming, of course, tennis, soccer) and photography help me to relax and to regain my energy.
